Classic soul, modern control

This design was a tribute to the classic balls from the ‘70s and ‘80s, but updated to meet the demands of today’s futsal game. I wanted to keep that timeless black-and-white look, with bold pentagonal panels and simple graphic details that reinforce the “retro” vibe , without making it too literal.

I put a lot of focus on visual balance: making it feel nostalgic, but not outdated. The branding was integrated subtly, respecting the style and using the panel spaces to stand out without breaking the overall harmony.

We developed it specifically for futsal and synthetic courts, choosing materials and finishes that ensure great touch, control, and grip on indoor surfaces. It was a great chance to connect emotional design with practical function.
